Working alone is easier than working with others. Because I
am working alone, I can focus my efforts specifically on the project. If I were
to work with a partner, I would have to waste a large amount of time and effort
trying to coordinate with a partner because of social distractions, the need to
share information, and having to plan the project together. Planning the
project together is especially difficult because I could have conflicting views
with a partner, and we may want to pursue different ideas. Working with others
would cause many unnecessary complications and would likely slow my project’s
progress down.
